Photojournalism

The scene is little kids in a tent. This was taken in Tent City that was home to African -American sharecroppers who were kicked off white land because they were registering to vote. Ernest Withers. He emphasize is on the kids. The mood to me seems scared and curious.
Sarah Shourd was a hiker that was captured in Iran and was recently freed. Sarah meets with her mother, Nora. Taken by Sultan al-Hasani. They took this in the center and it emphasizes the two women. The mood is bitter sweet because she is with her family but also she was kidnapped.

Kenza Drider is wearing a niqab, leaving a shop in Avignon, France. They have now banned full head dresses in France. Taken by Claude Paris. They took her in her normal outfit in her normal environment.

These cranes are helping the miners underground in Chile. Taken by Ariel Marinkovic. They took it in landscape mode and there isn’t one thing they emphasized one. The mood is hope.

A British Petroleum oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. The Image is of the response crews as they battle the flames. They put the action in the center of the frame. The emphasis is on the explosion and the boats. The impact of the photo is the damage and the problem we all know it caused.
